EVERY 5,000 MILES

However, your oil should be changed, and your oil filter replaced, every 7,500 miles, even if the indicator hasn’t lit up. Your 15,000-mile service, in addition to performing your 5,000-mile maintenance check, is where you’ll need to inspect several elements. These include:

  • Fuel lines and hoses
  • Brake lines, hoses, and connections
  • Steering operation and linkages
  • Front and rear suspension, ball joints, and wheel bearing axial play
  • Driveshaft dust boots

You should also have your engine air filter, cabin air filter, and wiper blades replaced at this maintenance check, as well as having all bolts and nuts on your car’s chassis and body tightened. Additionally, your vehicle may need other items found on the multi-point inspection.

20,000-MILE SERVICE

MAZDA CX-9: 30,000-MILE SERVICE

After every 30,000 miles, you should receive your 5,000-mile and 15,000-mile service. At this point you should also You should also have your engine air filter, cabin air filter, and wiper blades replaced. It may also be good to have your fuel system’s hoses and tubes inspected for emissions. Additionally, your vehicle may need other items found on the multi-point inspection.

EVERY 35,000 MILES

With each 35,000 miles you drive, you’ll need to receive your 5,000-mile service. You should also inspect your exhaust system and heat shields. Also, if you haven’t replaced your engine air filter yet, you should do that now. Additionally, your vehicle may need other items found on the multi-point inspection.

EVERY 40,000 MILES

At each 40,000-mile interval, you’ll need to replace the spark plugs in your Mazda CX-9. Additionally, your vehicle may need other items found on the multi-point inspection.

MAZDA CX-9 MAINTENANCE AT 120,000 MILES

When you reach this monumental mile marker, your engine coolant will be due for a replacement. It should be replaced again every 60,000 miles after this. It’s recommended that you use FL-22 to avoid potential engine and cooling system damage. Additionally, your vehicle may need other items found on the multi-point inspection.
