Mazda Ranks 1st for Reliability in Consumer Reports’ Annual Survey!
In a survey of over 300,000 vehicles, Mazda nabbed the top spot in vehicle reliability, dethroning Toyota and Lexus who previously held the position.
Mazda secured the position with their powertrains that use durable six-speed automatic transmissions instead of CVTs.
Mazda also built cockpits that discourage dangerous screen use while driving and encourage the use of buttons and dials that can be handled without taking your eyes off the road.
The most reliable Mazda was the MX-5 with a score of 98 out of 100, followed by the CX-30, CX-3, and CX-5. All these vehicles scored an 85 or better in reliability.
