We can’t believe that the first quarter of 2023 is over. It’s been a fun and successful three months with a lot of momentum.

We are happy that Ocean Mazda has given us the President’s Club Award for the 5th year in a row. The President’s Club designation is the highest honor given by Mazda North America, recognizing only 50 dealerships across the country for providing superior customer service and experiences, along with achieving top sales performance among similar-sized dealerships.

We were happy that the South Florida Business Journal ranked us in the top 10 of the 2023 Best Places to Work for Large Companies. The Best Places to Work Awards in South Florida honors the area’s leading employers. Honoree companies go beyond the norm to foster an enjoyable and meaningful work environment for their employees.

Congratulations to Jorge Rodriguez for his promotion to Sales Manager at Ocean Auto Club Doral. Jorge has worked in the automotive industry since 1996 where he started as a Sales Porter and growing through the ranks throughout his career. He has been with Ocean Automotive Group since 2015.

Ocean Auto Club Coral Gables hired Miguel Rodriguez as their New Sales Director. Miguel has worked in the automotive industry for the past 26 years. He is a great addition to the team. Before he came to work with us, Miguel started as a Sales Consultant with Abraham Chevrolet, growing into a Finance Manager then taking the role of Finance Director with Braman until 2010. In 2012 he opened an Auto Boutique working with the most exclusive artists and athletes in the World. Miguel was previously honored to be on the board of Alphera Financial, a group of the top 10 Public Car Dealers in the USA.

We’re excited to have Osmand (Ossie) Ferrufino join our team. Here’s a little about him: Born in Honduras, raised in South Florida. He started out selling new Mazdas in 1989, and still love this business! He is very excited to start a new chapter in my life with Ocean Mazda. He is a loving husband of Rosie, proud father of Alexandra and Alvaro, and granddaughters Victoria and Giuliana. He loves the outdoors, traveling, great food and red wine.
