Doral and Ocean Mazda Unveil New Doral PD Mounted Patrol Unit

On Tuesday, August 3rd, Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, City Council and Doral Police joined Ocean Automotive Group/Ocean Mazda for a special presentation.

The newest unit in the Doral Police Department has joined the force – “Ocean” of the Mounted Patrol Unit.

Ocean is a Standardbred gelding that was proudly donated to the City by Doral-based, Ocean Automotive Group/Ocean Mazda, to assist with the policing parks, special events, and to positively engage the community.

The community has happily welcomed Ocean to better our community. Keep your eye out for them around town! Though Ocean is hard to miss…they’ll be the officer with the hoofs.
